  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • Red and blue sprinkles or candies for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Combine the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder into the mixture and stir until smooth.
  4. Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.
  6. Cool the brownies in the pan and then decorate with red and blue sprinkles.
