  • 4 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup cornflakes, crushed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Chocolate syrup (for serving)
  • Whipped cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Scoop and freeze the ice cream into balls, placing them on a lined baking sheet. Freeze for at least 2 hours until firm.
  2. Combine crushed cornflakes and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs with vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Prepare the ice cream balls by rolling in flour, dipping in egg mixture, and coating with cornflakes.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or pot to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Fry the coated ice cream balls for 10-15 seconds until golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  8. Serve immediately with chocolate syrup and whipped cream on top.

Notes

Ensure ice cream balls are very firm for easy frying and experiment with toppings to enhance flavors.
