Delightful cookies that combine crunchy macadamia nuts with rich white chocolate for a sweet treat.

  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, incorporating each egg fully.
  4. Combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in the white chocolate chips and chopped macadamia nuts.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 9 to 11 minutes, until the edges are golden.
  8. Cool the cookies on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

For best results, ensure butter is softened and do not overmix the dough.
