A refreshing and light watermelon sorbet perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups watermelon, diced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Blend the diced watermelon in a blender until smooth.
  2. Strain the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve for a smoother texture.
  3. Mix the watermelon juice with sugar, lemon juice, and salt until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn until thick and slushy.
  5. Transfer the sorbet to a container and freeze for at least 2 hours.
  6. Scoop into bowls and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, try topping with fresh mint or a drizzle of lime juice. If the sorbet is too icy, it may be due to over-freezing.
