Classic vanilla cupcakes that are fluffy, tender, and perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake pan with paper liners to make cleanup a breeze!
  2. Creaming together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition for a smooth batter.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract to let its aroma fill your kitchen.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk while stirring gently.
  7. Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, and in the refrigerator for up to a week.
