A comforting dish of tender turkey meatballs served over pasta and rich marinara sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces pasta of choice
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until well-combined, then form into small meatballs.
  2. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes, or until they’re browned and cooked through.
  3. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain and set aside.
  4. Heat marinara sauce over medium heat in a large skillet. Add baked meatballs and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Serve by placing pasta on plates, topping with meatballs and marinara sauce, and garnishing with fresh basil.
