Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  2. Add in the ground turkey, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned and no longer pink, about 5-10 minutes.
  3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried oregano, and dried basil. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Reduce the heat and let everything simmer for about 20-30 minutes.
  5. Serve the sauce over your favorite cooked pasta and top generously with parmesan cheese.
