A comforting and simple tuna salad sandwich recipe perfect for busy weekdays.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Bread (white, whole grain, or your choice)

Instructions

  1. Combine the ingredients: In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped celery, and onion.
  2. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Assemble your sandwich: To assemble the sandwiches, lay down lettuce on one slice of bread, add the tuna salad mixture, and top with another slice of bread.
  4. Cut in half and serve.

Notes

For best texture, add fresh lettuce right before serving. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days.
