A vibrant and flavorful dish that combines ground turkey and fresh vegetables wrapped in crunchy romaine lettuce, topped with zesty peanut sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground turkey
  • 8 leaves Romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 cup Peanut sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, minced
  • 3 each Green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup Carrots, shredded
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground turkey. Break it apart with a spatula until browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes.
  2. Once the turkey is browned, add the minced garlic and ginger. Stir for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Now, mix in the shredded carrots and chopped green onions. Sauté for another 3 minutes until softened.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce and lime juice. Stir well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. To serve, take a Romaine lettuce leaf and spoon the turkey filling into the center. Drizzle with peanut sauce and wrap.

Notes

Great for serving with lime wedges, cucumber salad, or jasmine rice. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, keeping lettuce separate to maintain crunch.
