  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 cups lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 cup salsa
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Browning the meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Seasoning the meat: Add the taco seasoning and follow package instructions, usually adding water and simmering for a few minutes.
  3. Mixing the salad: In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, tomatoes, black beans, corn, cheese, and avocado.
  4. Dressing the salad: Toss the salad with salsa to taste.
  5. Final assembly: Serve the salad mixture in bowls and top with seasoned meat and tortilla chips.

Notes
