  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking pan (about 18×13 inches).
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla and almond extracts.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients until just mixed.
  6. Spread the dough evenly in the prepared baking pan.
