A nostalgic and delicious take on classic stuffed mushrooms filled with a creamy mixture of sausage or crab, perfect for any gathering.

  • 16 large mushrooms
  • 1 cup cooked sausage or crab meat
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp paper towel and removing the stems.
  3. Prepare the filling by mixing sausage or crab meat, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each mushroom cap with the mixture.
  5. Arrange the stuffed mushrooms on a lined baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and filling is bubbling.
  7. Serve warm for best flavor and texture.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat at 350°F (175°C).
