  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Butter (for cooking)
  • Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sweet Filling: In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Assemble the Sandwiches: Spread the cream cheese mixture on two slices of bread, and top with the other two slices.
  3. Whisk the Egg Mixture: In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Heat the Skillet: Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt a little butter.
  5. Soak the Sandwiches: Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
  6. Sauté the Sandwiches: Cook the sandwiches in the skillet until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
