A nostalgic dessert with a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy cheesecake filling, and a vibrant strawberry layer.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 6 oz strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Create the pretzel crust by combining crushed pretzels and melted butter, then pressing into a baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes and cool.
  3. Whip together sugar and cream cheese until smooth, then fold in whipped topping and spread over the cooled crust.
  4. Prepare the strawberry layer by dissolving gelatin in boiling water and mixing with strawberries. Pour over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours until set.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For variations, try different fruits or use gluten-free pretzels.
