A vibrant cake filled with strawberry goodness and topped with whipped cream, perfect for celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of strawberry jello
  • 2 cups of strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup of whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the cake mix instructions.
  2. Combine the yellow cake mix, eggs, and water in a mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth and pour into a greased baking pan.
  3. Bake as directed, usually around 25 to 30 minutes.
  4. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  5. Poke holes all over the top of the cake using the handle of a wooden spoon.
  6. Prepare the strawberry jello according to package instructions and pour over the cake.
  7. Cover the cake and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  8. Spread a layer of whipped cream over the top of the cake and garnish with sliced strawberries.

Notes

Make sure to poke the holes while the cake is still warm for better jello penetration.
