Delicious flaky biscuits filled with sweet strawberries and creamy filling, perfect for any occasion.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Incorporate the milk until just combined.
  5. Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness on a floured surface.
  6. Cut into circles using a biscuit cutter.
  7. Prepare the filling by mixing together cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and chopped strawberries.
  8. Fill the dough circles with a spoonful of the strawberry mixture.
  9. Seal the dough over the filling and pinch the edges.
  10. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  11. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. Cool slightly before serving and enjoy.
