Delightful biscuit bombs bursting with a luscious strawberry and cream cheese filling, perfected for a sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the milk gradually to the butter-sugar mixture and stir well.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Combine the chopped strawberries, cream cheese, and powdered sugar in a separate bowl.
  7. Scoop a tablespoon of the biscuit dough and flatten it in your hand.
  8. Place a spoonful of the strawberry filling in the center of the flattened dough.
  9. Fold the dough over the filling and shape it into a ball.
  10. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Allow the biscuit bombs to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra treat. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
