  • 2 cups crushed strawberries
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 4 cups whipped cream
  • 1 cup crushed cookies (like Golden Oreos)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, prepare the vanilla cake mix according to package instructions. Fold in the crushed strawberries.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared cake pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes.
  4. Once baked, let the cake cool completely.
  5. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the whipped cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until fluffy.
  6. Once the cake is completely cooled, gently spread a layer of the whipped cream mixture over the top.
  7. Sprinkle the crushed cookies on top of the whipped cream.
  8. Serve the cake chilled for the best flavor and texture.
