Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Blend the wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix the warm milk, melted butter, and egg.
  3. Form the dough: Combine the wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  4. Knead for perfection: Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Let it rise: Place the dough in a warm spot, cover it, and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  6. Preheat and prepare: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  7. Prepare the filling: In a bowl, mix heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
  8. Layer and roll: Spread the cream mixture over the dough, then sprinkle with chopped strawberries and roll tightly.
  9. Slice into rolls: Slice the log into even rolls, about 1 inch thick, and place on a baking sheet.
  10. Bake to golden perfection: Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  11. Cool and serve: Let the rolls cool slightly before serving warm.
