  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Form small portions into 1-inch meatballs and set aside.
  4. Brown the meatballs in olive oil over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the meatballs to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Prepare the sauce by adding heavy cream, beef broth, and Italian seasoning to the skillet and simmering until slightly thickened.
  7. Combine the meatballs with the sauce and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Serve hot, with extra sauce on top.

Notes

For a complete meal, serve over zucchini noodles or cauliflower rice. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
