A delightful twist on a classic meal, warm bread rolls filled with cheesy spaghetti and garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Spaghetti (Cook according to package instructions.)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (Minced.)
  • 4 rolls Crusty bread rolls (Choose ciabatta or baguette.)
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese (Mozzarella or your choice.)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil (For sautéing garlic.)
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Pepper
  • Optional Fresh parsley (For garnish.)

Instructions

  1. Start by cooking the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Boil a pot of salted water, and once it’s bubbling, throw in those noodles. Al dente is the way to go, so keep an eye on the clock!
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until it becomes fragrant and golden. This shouldn’t take long—just a few minutes! Be careful not to burn it, as burnt garlic can turn bitter.
  3. Once your spaghetti is cooked, drain it and add it to the skillet with the sautéed garlic. Toss everything together and season with salt and pepper to taste. Finally, mix in half of the shredded cheese, allowing it to melt into the warm pasta for that gooey texture we all love!
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). While it heats, carefully hollow out the crusty rolls. Leave enough bread at the bottom to hold all that delicious spaghetti without leaking. Then, fill each roll with the spaghetti mixture and top generously with the remaining shredded cheese.
  5. Place your filled bread rolls on a baking sheet and pop them in the oven. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the bread is golden. Your kitchen will smell divine!
  6. Once out of the oven, let the bowls cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color, and then serve immediately. Watch the smiles as your family digs into these delectable creations!
