  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
  2. Cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Incorporate the sour cream and vanilla extract into the mixture.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
