A delightful fusion of creamy cheesecake and buttery crescent rolls, these Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars are a nostalgic treat perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough.
  5. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Pour the melted butter over the top layer, then sprinkle powdered sugar and cinnamon over the dish.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let it cool before cutting into bars and serving.
