  2. Allow the mixture to boil for about five minutes without stirring, watching it turn a golden color.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, stirring well.
  4. Toss in the pecans, ensuring they’re fully coated with the caramel mixture.
  5. Using a spoon, drop heaping spoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Allow the clusters to cool completely at room temperature before serving.
