A delicious fusion of juicy burger patties and zesty tacos, perfect for family dinners or casual get-togethers.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Taco shells or small tortillas
  • Lettuce, shredded
  • Tomato, diced
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Onion, diced
  • Pickles, sliced
  • Ketchup and mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until hot and ready for cooking.
  2. Divide the ground beef into small balls. Smash each ball onto the hot skillet with a spatula to form thin, crispy patties. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side until they develop a golden brown crust. Flip them over and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until fully cooked through.
  4. Warm the taco shells or tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave until they’re soft and pliable.
  5. Place a burger patty into each taco shell. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese, onions, and pickles. Drizzle with ketchup and mustard if desired. Serve immediately while the patties are warm.

Notes

For juicier patties, use high-fat content beef (like 80/20). Customize toppings to your liking.
