Tender and succulent pulled pork cooked to perfection in a slow cooker, perfect for family gatherings or game day.

Ingredients

  • 45 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Rub the pork shoulder generously with paprika, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker on top of the onions and garlic.
  4. Pour the chicken broth and barbecue sauce over the pork.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
  6. Once cooked, shred the pork with two forks and mix it with the juices in the slow cooker.
  7. Serve on buns, in tacos, or with your favorite sides.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
