A comforting slow-cooked dish featuring tender chicken and vibrant broccoli in a creamy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Your choice of creamy sauce (e.g., cream of chicken or cheese sauce)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Layer the seasoned chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken, covering it thoroughly.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6–8 hours, or on high for 4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Fold the broccoli florets into the slow cooker about 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and allow it to melt into the sauce.
  7. Serve the loaded broccoli chicken hot with your choice of sides.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using a homemade cheese sauce. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
