Fresh and flavorful shrimp tacos made with succulent shrimp, crunchy cabbage, and zesty lime.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine the shrimp with spices: In a bowl, combine shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Toss until each shrimp is perfectly coated.
  2. Sauté the shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Warm the tortillas: While the shrimp are cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a pan or microwave.
  4. Assemble the tacos: Place the shrimp onto the warmed tortillas and top with cabbage, tomatoes, and cilantro.
  5. Serve with lime wedges: Finish with lime wedges on the side for a fresh squeeze of citrus.
