A delightful Shrimp Scampi Pasta featuring tender spaghetti coated in a buttery garlic sauce with succulent shrimp.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the spaghetti according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Once al dente, drain it and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until it starts to foam.
  3. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the melted butter. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Cook the peeled and deveined shrimp in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes, until pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in the white wine and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Stir in the cooked spaghetti and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve the Shrimp Scampi Pasta hot, garnished with extra parsley if desired.

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Salt the pasta water for flavor.
