  • 2 tablespoons water

  3. Sauté the chicken: Add the bite-sized chicken pieces to the pan and cook for around 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Pour on the flavor: Pour the prepared sauce over the cooked chicken and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Thicken the sauce: Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry and add this mixture to the chicken and sauce.
  6. Enjoy the aroma: Stir until the sauce has thickened to your liking.
  7. Garnish your creation: Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
  8. Serve it up: Serve your sesame chicken hot, alongside fluffy rice or steaming noodles.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate in the sauce for about 30 minutes before cooking. Substitute soy sauce with tamari for a gluten-free option.
