Decadent brownies with a rich chocolatey base topped with luscious salted caramel, creating an irresistible dessert experience.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until completely liquefied.
  3. Stir in the granulated sugar until well combined, followed by the eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Beat in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt until well blended.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly.
  6. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the brownie batter.
  7. Add the remaining brownie batter over the top of the caramel layer.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Sprinkle sea salt over the top once cooled.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or a glass of cold milk. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
