Indulge in these magical salted caramel brownies that blend rich chocolate with gooey caramel, enhanced by a sprinkle of sea salt.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • Sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Combine the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract into the melted butter until smooth.
  4. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, folding until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the pan and drizzle half of the caramel sauce over it.
  7. Top with remaining brownie batter, spreading it to cover the caramel completely.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Cool slightly and sprinkle sea salt on top before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for added indulgence. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
