A succulent and flavorful roasted duck infused with garlic and fresh rosemary, perfect for gatherings and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole duck
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the duck, making sure to get under the skin.
  4. Place the duck in a roasting pan and roast for approximately 2 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Once your duck is cooked to perfection, let it rest for 15 minutes before carving.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, prick the skin with a fork before rubbing in the marinade. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
