Gooey, chocolatey delights filled with marshmallows, walnuts, and chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. Cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl. Gradually stir this mixture into the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in the mini marshmallows, chopped walnuts, and chocolate chips.
  6. Spread the batter evenly into your prepared baking pan.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the brownies begin to pull away from the edges.
  8. Cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

For a richer chocolate taste, add a pinch of espresso powder to the batter.
