A nostalgic treat that brings smiles to everyone with its gooey, chewy goodness.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows or 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add the marshmallows to the melted butter and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat once the mixture is velvety.
  4. Combine the Rice Krispies cereal with the melted marshmallow mixture.
  5. Press the mixture firmly into a greased 13×9-inch pan using a buttered spatula.
  6. Cool for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, wrap individually and freeze for up to 3 months.
