  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Combine the canned pumpkin, sugar, vegetable oil, water, and eggs in a large bowl and mix until smooth.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger in another bowl.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
