Delicious hot dogs wrapped in flaky puff pastry, perfect for parties or a quick snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Flour (for dusting)
  • Ketchup (for serving)
  • Mustard (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly dust your work surface with flour.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thickness.
  4. Cut the pastry into strips, about 1 inch wide.
  5. Wrap each hot dog with a strip of puff pastry.
  6. Arrange on a lined baking sheet, leaving space for puffing.
  7. Brush the pastries with the beaten egg wash.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until deep golden brown.
  9. Serve them hot with mustard and ketchup.

Notes

Best served fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
