Instructions

  1. Whisk together eggs and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  2. Combine with melted butter, vanilla extract, and anise extract, mixing well.
  3. Prepare the dry ingredients by whisking together flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients into the egg mixture, stirring until a smooth batter forms.
  5. Heat the pizzelle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Cook a tablespoon of batter in the pizzelle maker for about 30-60 seconds until golden brown.
  7. Cool on a wire rack and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
