A delightful fusion of classic tiramisu with the nutty elegance of pistachios, layered with mascarpone cream and espresso-soaked ladyfingers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shelled pistachios
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed espresso, cooled
  • 1/4 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios for garnish

Instructions

  1. Ground pistachios to elevate flavor in a food processor until finely ground.
  2. Whip the heavy cream in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
  3. Mix mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth in another bowl.
  4. Combine the whipped cream with the mascarpone mixture gently.
  5. Prepare the espresso mixture by mixing espresso and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.
  6. Dip each ladyfinger quickly in the espresso mixture, then layer them in a serving dish.
  7. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  8. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  9. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
  10. Garnish with chopped pistachios just before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It’s also great to make a day in advance to let flavors meld.
