Delicious sliders inspired by the classic Philly Cheesesteak, featuring juicy steak, sautéed onions, bell peppers, and melted provolone cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef steak (ribeye or sirloin), thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
  • 12 slider rolls
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: mayonnaise or mustard for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the vegetables in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat until soft, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Cook the thinly sliced steak in the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper until browned, approximately 5 minutes.
  4. Prepare the slider rolls by cutting them in half and placing the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  5. Assemble the sliders by layering the steak mixture and provolone cheese on the bottom halves.
  6. Cover with the top halves of the rolls and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  7. Cool slightly before serving to avoid burns.

Notes

These sliders are easy to customize with different cheeses or add-ins to suit your taste.
