These Peanut Butter Crinkle Cookies are a delightful combination of rich chocolate and creamy peanut butter, perfect for indulgence or sharing.

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. Set aside.
  2. Beat together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well to combine.
  4. Incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until everything is beautifully combined.
  5. Scoop out dough with a tablespoon and roll into balls.
  6. Roll each ball in powdered sugar to coat generously.
  7. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
