A simple yet luxurious homemade peach ice cream to celebrate the summer season.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend the peach mixture: In a blender, combine the sliced peaches, heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  3. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 240 minutes, or until firm.
  4. Scoop into bowls or cones, and enjoy your homemade peach ice cream!

Notes

For best flavor, choose ripe peaches. Can make dairy-free by substituting with coconut cream and almond milk.
