A simple and nostalgic dessert that combines juicy peaches with a golden cake layer, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of peaches (in syrup or juice)
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) of butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the canned peaches (juice and all) into a greased baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  4. Melt the butter and pour it generously over the dry cake mix.
  5. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top of the buttered cake mix.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let the cake cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
