A delightful and simple dessert featuring sweet peaches layered beneath a buttery cake mix.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) sliced peaches in syrup, undrained
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to a cozy 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the sliced peaches with their syrup into a baking dish.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the peaches.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon and chopped pecans over the top (optional).
  6. Pop your creation into the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes.
  7. Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Can be made with fresh peaches, or other fruits like pineapple or cherries.
