A simple yet utterly delightful peach cobbler recipe that combines fresh peaches and a buttery topping, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 6 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches with 1/2 cup of the granulated sugar.
  3. Mix the remaining sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract into the dry mixture.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and distribute the peach mixture on top.
