  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whip the egg whites on medium speed until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add granulated sugar, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form and the mixture is glossy.
  4. Mix in the vanilla extract and white vinegar to add a lovely flavor and help stabilize the meringue.
  5. Spoon the meringue onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a circle with a slight dip in the center.
  6. Bake for 1 hour, then turn off the oven and let the pavlova cool completely inside the oven.
  7. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  8. Top the cool pavlova generously with whipped cream and mixed berries.
  9. Slice into it with excitement and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Avoid refrigerating the meringue to prevent stickiness.
