A comforting dish featuring chicken breasts coated in a crispy Parmesan crust, served with a rich garlic cream sauce.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs together.
  3. Whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, then coat with the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Sear the chicken breasts until golden on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  7. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  8. Add heavy cream to the skillet and simmer until thickened.
  9. Stir in chopped parsley for a burst of freshness.
  10. Serve the chicken with the garlic sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

Serve with creamy mashed potatoes or pasta. Leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days, and also work well as a sandwich filling.
