Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 rack Baby back ribs
  • 2 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) to set the stage for those tender ribs.
  2. Remove the membrane from the ribs and pat them dry.
  3. Mix together smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and chili powder to create the dry rub.
  4. Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
  5. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil, bone-side down.
  6. Cover the ribs tightly with foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
  7. Remove the foil and brush the ribs with BBQ sauce.
  8. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the glaze is caramelized.
  9. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, consider marinating the ribs overnight in the spice mixture.
