A delightful cake that captures the nostalgic flavor of orange creamsicles, topped with fluffy whipped cream and fresh orange zest.

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 orange

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. Combine the orange cake mix, orange juice, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Beat for about 2 minutes until well mixed and fluffy.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Once done, let the cake cool completely before frosting.
  5. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until you achieve stiff peaks.
  6. Frost the cooled cake generously with the whipped cream mixture.
  7. Sprinkle fresh orange zest on top for decoration.
  8. Slice and serve your Orange Creamsicle Cake.
