A simple and nostalgic One-Pot Spaghetti recipe that celebrates the comforting taste of Italy.

  • 8 oz Spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 can (14 oz) Crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups Vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Pour in crushed tomatoes and vegetable broth, and stir well.
  4. Add spaghetti, basil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until pasta is cooked, about 10-12 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

Don’t overcook the pasta; you want it to be al dente. Customize your herbs and mix in veggies for added nutrition.
